When you log in on ur new account, a screen would appear. This is the screen which chooses your characters appearance. Choose a suitable male or female character. After that, u gotta talk to this guy named Runescape Guide who tells you some stuff about tutorial Island. Read what he tells you, then do what he tells you such as opening the player controls. After you are done with him, click on the door (an arrows is above the door) and click on the arrow on the minimap (top right corner).
Your character will go to the flag u marked. When u reach ur destination, you need to talk to the Survival Expert named Byrana. She gives u the Inventory icon (which is a bag) and a bronze axe and tinderbox. They aren’t worth a lot. just a few gp (you will learn about money and money making later$$$). Right-click on one of the trees and choose “chop-down tree”. Hooray, u cut ur first tree! Now use ur tree with ur tinderbox to create a fire. And viola ur first fire. Ull notice a flashing bar-graph icon. This will show u ur stats. Take time to check each stat out! to increase a stat level, u need to practice it. If you put ur cursor over one of the stats, it will show u ur “xp” (experience points) next lvl-up “xp” and the remainder to it. The remainder to lvl 2 will always be 83 xp. After that every time u get a lvl up, u need more xp. By around a lvl 65 stat, you need 40,000 xp to lvl up to 66! f u click on one of the stats, it will show u wat u can do at diffrent lvlz in the stat. Back to the game. After u make ur first fire, talk to Byranna who will give u a fishing net. use the fishing net with one of the sparkling spots in the lake. These are called fishing spots. You can only catch shrimps now. Check the different types of fish you can fish at each lvl. After u catch ur first shrimp, use it with a fire to cook it. It will burn. Do the same thing again, until u successfully cook a shrimp.
Then move on to the arrow on the mini-map. Open the gate and go to the cooks house. Do what the cook tells u, until u finish with him. U also will get a new icon, the music icon! listen to all diffrent types of music. After u are done and u get out of the house using the correct door, u get an emote icon. Go ahead an express ur feelings with one of them! Now why dont u put ur character in run mode, from the options icon (the one with the tool). follow the arrow to where u need to go, and enter the building, the quest guides home. In Runescape, u have to do some quests. He will tell u all about the quests. He will give u the quest icon and tells u to go in the caves under his house. To do that, climb down the ladder located southeast in his house. You will go inside a big cave. Go to the flashing arrow. You will meet the mining instrucure whoz name is Dezzik. He will tell u to prospect 2 types of rocks, tin and copper. Talk to him and he will give u a bronze pickaxe. Mine both rocks and use one of them with the furnace to retrieve a bronze bar. talk to him, and he will give u a hammer. Use the bar with an anvil (next to the furnace and a screen will pop up. Choose what u want to make. In this case it is a bronze dagger, the only thing u make in tutorial island. then move on through the gates to the combat instructor. He, Vannaka, has great pride and attitude. He will teach how to weild weapons and sheilds. He will ask u to kill rats. The green bar over their heads is how much health they have. Everytime u hit them with damge, their health will go down showing a bit of red. If they are dead, they have full red health. Dont worry, IN TUTORIAL YOU DON’T DIE.Slay as many as u want, then talk to him again. he will give 50 bronze arrows and a shortbow. Wield them, he will teach u how to weild, and attack rats from outside the cage! then talk to him, and u will be ready to move on. Of course, u will get 2 icons, the worn equipment icon and the combat options icon. He will also give u a few combat-related stuff. To move on, click on the ladder to go outside. You are almost done tutorial by now! just a few more teachings to got to the mainland, a much more fun place. The teachings u can do it on ur own becuz they are easy to do. You probably need help in two things. magic and prayer. To increase ur prayer level, u need to bury bones. Prayer is one of the hardest thing to increase because it takes such a long time. In magic, after u get a staff from the town of varrock or such (you will learn about places later) u can do spells easily. In tutorial, u have to fite caged chickens with magic by clicking on a spell then on a chicken. With a staff, u can do it in an easier way.
